How To Block Annoying Cookie Consent Banners In The Brave Browser On Mobile Devices

If you access a website for the very first time or have cleared your browser data recently including cookies and other site data, then you will experience the annoying cookie consent banner. This cookie consent notice will prompt you to either accept cookies from the current website you're on or reject some or all of them. If you are like me then you always take the necessary extra steps to reject all website cookies that you're accessing for the very first time or after clearing your browser cookies. This is because cookies are used by the website you're trying to view to track, personalize, and save information about you. If you're a privacy focused individual, having to take the extra steps of rejecting all cookies instead of accepting them each time can be time consuming and annoying and therefore Braves new cookie consent notice blocker is awesome!

In this video, I will show you how to rebuild a Linode Akamai server with a fresh Linux distribution or operating system (OS). Rebuilding your Linode still keeps the same server IP address. This is a massive plus as you will get the benefits of a fresh server and you won't need to redirect your traffic to a new server IP address. You're not only limited to rebuilding your Linode to a fresh OS image, but you can also restore your Linode using a backup such as a community stackscript or an account stackscript. Rebuilding however, will destroy all data on all existing discs for your Linode, so make sure you have backed everything up before pursing the rebuild if there is important data that you would like to keep.
Get $100 in free cloud credits from Linode (Akamai) using my referral link: https://www.linode.com/lp/refer/?r=e79e5bc41705426b5ccfc5d94059e6569b660f73
How To Install PuTTY on Windows https://youtu.be/0ptZPTTwRaE
Steps To Rebuild Linode An Akamai Server:
1. Log in to your Linode account. If you don't have a Linode account already, you can use my referral link https://www.linode.com/lp/refer/?r=e79e5bc41705426b5ccfc5d94059e6569b660f73 to get $100 in free Linode cloud credits to try out Linode for 60 days
2. On your Linode dashboard, locate your Linode and click on the three horizontal dots
3. Click Rebuild
4. Click on the box that says From Image and select one of the following: From Image, From Community Stackscript, and From account Stackscript
5. If you selected From Image, choose an image. In this video I went with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
6. Set a root password for your rebuild Linode server. You have the option to add an SSH key also
7. Type your Linode server label into the text box to confirm the rebuild
8. Click Rebuild Linode
9. Your Linode will then begin rebuilding, once the process has completed you should see a status of Running with a green circle next to it. Now Log into your Linode via SSH. Firstly, copy the IP address of your Linode and minimize your browser windows.
10. Open up your SSH client such as PuTTY. If you don't have an SSH client here is a step by step video of mine on how to install PuTTY https://youtu.be/0ptZPTTwRaE
11. Paste in your Linode servers IP address into the hostname and click on Open
12. You will then be greeted with a PuTTY security alert (if you're using PuTTY as your SSH client). Click on either Accept to cache your Linode servers new SSH host key (this is a direct result of the rebuilding process) or connect once to connect without caching
13. Log in as root and enter the root password for your Linode server that you set during the rebuild to be logged in.
Congratulations, you have successfully rebuilt a Linode server with a fresh Linux distribution and have logged into it using an SSH client.

In this video, I will show you how to rebuild a DigitalOcean droplet with a fresh OS. Droplet rebuilds, restore your cloud server to its original configuration parameters for the specified image. Rebuilds are restricted to base images and snapshots in the same OS family. For example, if you spun up your droplet originally with Ubuntu 22.04 (LTS) x64, you can only rebuild your droplet with an Ubuntu OS. The Ubuntu OS can be an equal version, an older version, or a newer version. The rebuild process will erase all the data stored on your droplet, so make sure you back up anything you want to keep before commencing with the rebuild. The droplet when rebuilt, will keep the same cloud server IP address, which is an excellent perk as you won't need to redirect your traffic to a new server IP address if you're managing a website for example.
