On my way to work the car lost all power and struggled to keep above 45 mph. I limped her home and found this. But I'm not sad about. The EJ20X is a terrible replacement for a 05-09 Legacy GT or Outback XT unless you convert your fuel system to E85 or run 93 octane, neither of which I have easy access to.
The motor is coming out and a new surprise is coming soon.

My buddy picked up an XT about 2 months ago with a blown engine and missing the downpipe. He didn't have anything to put it back together and couldn't afford a short block so I decided to trade him my black one with the junkyard engine build. The black one needed some wiring work and miscellaneous parts reinstalled and tracked down. This was all time I didn't have. I have a low mileage short block in my shop that I'll be rebuilding this one with.
