The airships of the past were also used as aircraft carriers. Bi-planes could be housed inside the body of the airship in the storage bays. Once inside the planes could be serviced and prepared for their next flight. When ready the pilot would climb inside the plane, start the motor, and the hatch door on the airship would open and the plane was lowered into position while still hooked to the airship. Once the pilot and plane were ready they would un-hook from the airship and safely fly away. Once the plane had completed its mission it would fly back to the airborne airship and re-hook, then brought inside the storage bay and the hatch door was closed.

In this short film we travel to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1997. At the time I was a Broadcast Journalism student at the University of Nebraska and I brought home a video camera for a videography class. Video cameras were still kind of hard to come by for personal use, so I decided to shoot some footage of Rich and Kilgore on the trampoline that I had in my backyard.
Recently I've been going back through my college days videos and I'm in the process of editing them to share with you. I hope this short film is the first of many from that era.

I've been happily persuing my passion of creating films and presentations for viewers, and I'm preparing a new show intro. I am really looking forward to sharing my upcoming films and thought that it would be appropriated to mark the moment of new films on this new/used computer that I've been diligently bringing in the fold. We might see variations of the intro all the way, yet I'm more excitied about learning more skills and techniques when it comes to creating films and video presentations. I made a few different versions of the intro to suit different situations.

As I learn to better run a LiveStream on YouTube, I hope to do them more often. Tonight I thought that I would play two of the videos that I've produced and previously uploaded onto YouTube, "The Great Streamliners of the Old World", and "Old World India, Reset Evidence". Plus add some video commentary before, between, and after the videos.
Last night I tried my first LiveStream and it went okay for awhile, I even had some nice viewers check it out, and added nice comments. Then I ran into some buffering issues, as I had some levels set at the incorrect levels and it felt like it crashed the stream. I did a little research into OBS resolution and Bitrate levels, and I hope the LiveStream goes much smoother tonight. Fingers crossed.
I'm pretty sure my modest laptop is being pushed to its current capabilities, and I'm looking into some helpful solutions. If anybody with good intentions has any input that could help I would be much appreciative.
After re-watching tonight's LiveStream I thought it went well, overall, yet I did make a few beginer mistakes. A few things to note and for me to improve on were 1. If I leave in my earbuds while I'm trying to talk to the viewer I sound mummbly and slow as there is a slight delay in the earpiece and my brain tries to compensate by slowing down my speech. It's best to take the earpieces out and I will be better prepared for the next LiveStream. 2. I left my microphone on during multiple points in the LiveStream, thus the viewer can hear me banging around in my kitchen, breathing, laughing, talking, etc. I apologize for such a rookie mistake. I will also be more prepared next time. 3. The screen size for the viewer was something that I had not planned for and I didn't realize the mistake until midway through the show. I apologize to the viewer for the in-show adjustments, hopefully those will all be squared away for future shows. I realized now that I can also make my camera screen bigger in between videos, while I'm talking to the viewers. That will be more acceptable next LiveStream. Finally, I have a feeling that the Bitrate level was set too low, thus the buffering / slowed down look to the videos and when I'm talking to the vieweres. My goal is to find a happy medium between a more fluid and professional look for the viewer and what level my maxed-out mid-range laptop can handle. If I set the Bitrate too high, the videos look better and my camera looks better, but it can cause my LiveStream to be dropped as my computer can't keep up with what it is being asked to perform. On the other hand, if I drop the Bitrate level down too far my computer can handle it and I keep the LiveStream running, but the video quality drops down and is less attractive to the viewer. I will find a way to make it work for all th
