3 Questions to Ask Whenever You Analyze Liberal Policies
The Truth with Thomas Sowell -
Liberal’s Premise – Man is born free but the Real Problems with the World Is the Institutions Are Wrong and there is nothing in human nature that would cause us to be unhappy, it’s the fact we have the wrong institutions.
Conservative’s Premise – Man is flawed from day one and there are no solutions but trade offs and whatever you do to deal with one of man’s flaws it creates another problem but you try to get the best trade off you can get but that is all that you can hope for.
There are 3 questions that would destroy most of the arguments on the left:
• Compared to What?
• At What Cost?
• What Hard Evidence Do You Have?
There are very few ideas on the left that can pass these 3 questions.
Conservatives pass those test because they don’t assume there is a solution out there. Adam Smith didn’t believe that the either government or market could solve all problems and that you simply have to tolerate certain things.

The announcement has triggered debate around the nation on the constitutionality of the federal government’s actions, as it appears to be trying to regulate speech. It has also sparked even deeper debate over the environment of online censorship.
The latest move, however, is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to federal government actions to monitor and counter information it deems false or harmful. Unless a few brave and courageous people are willing to stand up and say “I don’t agree!” history suggests that we will end up with a fully totalitarian outcome.
