Stars Fall (new version with lyrics) - The Death of Asimov and Keterina - Cowboy Bebop
A new version of the song "Stars Fall" by Erick McNerneyThis time the singing is by Nekane, with mixing and mastering by Owen Claxton. This is not an official lyric video. I do not own the copyrights to the video being used as a backdrop. It is from the show "Cowboy Bebop" Session #1, Asteroid Blues.
A playthrough of the presets from sound designer Hans Shenk.
Deep Conjuring II is a deep sound design instrument that can dial up your nightmares or your wildest dreams, and is a collaboration between Sound Aesthetics Sampling and Beautiful Void Audio.
The goal was to create beautiful, strange and otherworldly sounds that resemble conventional sounds at times, with a unique timbre and mood. That being said, creating truly unique and terrifying presets is also a strength of the instrument.
There are a total of 138 sound sources (1.98GB - 203 samples, at 24bit 48hz).
The combination of the novel sound design and the innovative engine make it possible to create a wide range of presets - from percussion, plucks and harps, to dark and intense drones, strange feedback noises, beautiful pads, and much more.
Each NKI Instrument (Main NKI and FX NKI) features a dedicated preset system, which can be saved and recalled within the instrument itself. No need to deal with snapshots in any way.
Requires the full version of Kontakt 6.2.2 (R51) or higher.
This release has been added to the Half Light Sampling Collection and is free to existing users.
The sound design process before the Kontakt Instrument was made:
In order to create unique samples, we put various sounds through convolution reverb, then modulated certain parameters of the reverb and recorded the changes live for each sample.
The original sound sources include harps, flutes, violins, rain, tornado sirens, soft synths, and more.

This is the demo version of the song "Come Haunt Me (feat. Nekane)"
The demo version was partially improvised. Though I had a concept for some of the lyrics, I did not memorize everything, and I sang some things wrong. In particular, one part of the demo I sing "Kill me on the spot" - that is a major mistake. The song was never meant to be taken literally, and the line was always meant to be sung "Kill me in your mind" - which has a much different meaning. It's more meant to signify a painful breakup.

I tried recreating a small section of Tchaikovsky's 6th symphony. I do not have the sheet music, so I had to use my ears, and my limited knowledge of orchestration.
I hope to get good enough at this to one day recreate an entire piece and put up a tutorial--either Tristan and Isolde Prelude by Wagner or Francesca da Rimini by Tchaikovsky. Or I could try one of the nocturnes by Debussy (may be a better first attempt since they are simpler than the first 2 I mentioned).

Time Dilation is a collection of grainy, beautiful, lofi, strange and wonderful sounds for Omnisphere 2.8.0
There are 210 sound sources and 246 presets, ranging from deep lush pads, dynamic and vibrant arps, strange harmonic textures, to even dark and menacing drones. Sometimes there are even beautiful and understated sounds.
The sound sources were created by pushing the limits of MIDI data processing. Anywhere from 500k to 8 Million notes were processed per minute - through soft synths and samplers. Of course not all notes can be processed when putting that much MIDI through a synth - but that is where the beauty comes. Strange and peculiar artifacts emerge, and weird and wonderful harmonic structures come into being - that would be difficult to replicate through other processes.
This process could be thought of as granular in nature. Because of this, many of the sounds are texturally deep and full.
Though there are numerous categories of sound, most of them are still heavily textured in nature.
Category and Preset Count:
ARPS 21
Bells And Vibes 3

*This category primarily deals with the perception of sound, and includes mostly strange and unusual sounds that can often play on your expectations.
