If for any reason the Odysee video above does not play well for you, the back up YouTube version is here.
Here are Some Reasons I Think New Reloaders Should Start with Shot Shells...
One - Cheap to get started
Two - How flexible the shot gun is
Three - Components tend to be cheap as well
Four - You can reload and cast slugs or even buck shot
Five - Available tends to be higher during component shortages
Six - It is really hard to double load a shell or do something stupid/dangerous unless it is on purpose
Seven - There is so much to learn and develop and tons of YouTubers who can teach you about it.
Eight - Master the shot gun and you will ever go hungry & shot guys are high volume tools. Ask a dove hunter.

This was a fantastic post from the ask me questions Miyagi Mornings post on my MeWe page….
What do you do with a homestead when you’re elderly? There’s a lot we can do to increase our health span and be active well into our 70’s. But at the end of the day, we are all headed in the same direction and eventually even a modest homestead is unsustainable for an older person. What’s the long term prep here? How should we look at this issue? I’m 34 BTW, but I spend a lot of time thinking about how to handle life in my later years.
This is a fantastic question and it really centers on two things.
1. Choice in which things and systems you want to continue to run and use as you get older.
2. Smart design that minimizes human labor, because even if you hire in labor it makes it cost less and easier to find the help you need to get it done.
I also think this is a great case where possible for things like tenants in Small/Tiny houses, etc.

This is a garden tour at Melliodora, the home of David Holmgren and Su Dennett in Victoria, Australia. David is the co-originator of the permaculture concept and this tour offers an insight into how he and Su have designed their home and gardens according to permaculture design principles.
Come and take a tour through the four zones that make up their 1-hectare property – vegetable gardens, fruit trees, geese, goats and chickens, a tiny house, and a very cool “cool cupboard” in the kitchen!

Today Adam is best known as the co-host of his show No Agenda which is one of the longest running podcasts online today. He also built Podcast Index allowing podcasters and listeners to exchange value for value with streaming satoshis (bitcoin) over the lightning network.
