Arrests Made Mall of America Homicide On 12/24/2022, Bloomington Police Detectives with assistance from the Saint Louis Park, Edina, and Minnetonka SWAT teams arrested 5 individuals in connection with the December 23rd homicide at the Mall of America. Detectives worked through the evening of the 23rd to identify and locate suspects. At approximately 8:40 AM, a search warrant was served at 275 Shelard Parkway in Saint Louis Park. Five individuals were arrested at that location following the warrant service. Three juvenile males were arrested, booked at the Bloomington Police Department, and transported to Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center. Adult males Taeshawn Adams Wright DOB 09/26/2004 and Deandre Antioun Depratto DOB 10-14-2004 were arrested. Wright and Depratto are currently being held pending charges from the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. Charges are possible on Tuesday, December 27th. All suspects were booked for murder in the second degree. The investigation of this homicide is ongoing.
