There are eye cylinders and suction fighters appearing over pits of spikes. Use Item 2 to cross over a wide pit of spikes and climb a ladder. Navigate a puzzle platform over spikes and climb some more ladders. After defeating a helmet, there will be spring traps with spike pits around. Shoot down a swarm of drills and use Item 3 to scale one wall before coming across a spiked hydraulic press. Climb a ladder and you’ll see helmets along with a sumo blower. After some hatches releasing plasma strips, enter the cap doors to take on the forming wall tiles. After the tiles assemble, they will home at you. After each one you defeat, the next one will travel faster. Use the Metal Blade to make it easier to attack. Depending on how much time is left and how many coins you collect, the paths after the pipe change. The first area has Dino enemies all over the hills. The first and 2nd Yoshi Coin are by a ? Block containing a Yoshi egg. Collect from 0-8 coins and you’ll end up at a hill zone with Paratroopas. If you collect 9-20 coins, you’ll end up at an area with Rex and a Yoshi Coin. Collect 21 or more coins and you’ll end up at a zone where you’ll have to fly to get a Yoshi Coin and make it to the next landing. After either of these 3 paths, depending how much time left, you’ll either go to a path with Dino Rhinos with 249-235 remaining or a path with water and bubbles containing Mushroom if the time is 235 or below left. Either path has a Yoshi Coin. For the last path, depending on how many Yoshi Coins you have, you’ll take the path with the hills containing Rex enemies if you have 1-3 Yoshi Coins. If you have 4 Yoshi Coins, you’ll take the path over colored blocks with one more Yoshi Coin to collect. Continue ahead and you’ll find the goal.

The gym of Snowpoint City has icy floors that make you skate. Battle some trainers and destroy the snowballs as you skate along. Solve the puzzle and you’ll battle the gym leader. Candice uses Ice type Pokémon. Snover will use Ingrain to restore HP with the ineligibility to switch out along with Razor Leaf for critical hits. Sneasel will use Slash for critical hits and Faint Attack for never-miss strikes. Medicham will use Bulk Up to power up along with Force Palm to paralyze targets and Ice Punch to freeze targets. When Abomasnow is sent out, its Snow Warning ability summons hail that lasts until the weather effects are replaced. Abomasnow will use Swagger to confuse opponents and put them to sleep with Grasswhistle. After the battle, you’ll receive the Icicle Badge and a TM72 (Avalanche). The user moves last when using this move, but if it takes damage on the same turn, Avalanche has double the power.

If a totem statue begins rattling, it will move and try to ram into you, so be sure to enter a door for safety to let it pass. After seeing some blue rangers, the next totem statue will shoot a stream of fire, so just stay away from it. As you dive through the floors, rangers will appear on the windows. After navigating the maze, rangers in different colors will keep appearing until a totem statue shoots fire from its top. When you ascend with the ledges, rangers will appear from the windows. The door below one totem statue has a prisoner that will give you the bomb. Near the entrance of the palace, red rangers will appear. Defeat a few more rangers and bomb the door to finish the stage.

After defeating Cyrus for the 2nd time, you’ll take on Palkia. Save your game before you approach. Palkia is on Level 47. Its signature move is Spacial Rend. Spacial Rend has a high critical hit ratio. Since Palkia is Water/Dragon type, Net Balls would be the best choice.

After taking care of Team Plasma in Castelia City, go to the gym where you’ll see slimy walls you can slip through and step on switches to form a path. After forming the path, you’ll battle the gym leader. Burgh uses Bug type Pokémon. Whirlipede will use Pursuit if opponents try to switch out and Poison Tail for added chances of critical hits. Dwebble will use Smack Down to knock down those in the air and Faint Attack for never miss strikes. Leavanny will use Razor Leaf for critical hits along with Protect to avoid attacks for one turn. After the battle, you’ll receive the Insect Badge and a TM76 (Struggle Bug). Struggle Bug strikes all nearby opponents and lowers their Special Attack stat.

Roark is one of the Sinnoh Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Sinnoh Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Roark is skilled in using Rock type Pokémon. Rampardos will use Stone Edge for critical hits and Avalanche for more damage when hit the same turn. Probopass will use Stealth Rock to hurt anyone switching out, Discharge to paralyze those who have been hit, and Pain Split to steal HP from a target. Archeops holds a Life Orb for increased power but will hurt itself after landing a hit. Crustle will use Shell Smash to gain stats and SolarBeam with a Power Herb giving it immediate readiness for once. Golem holds a Choice Band to power up physical attacks but can only use one move. Relicanth will use Yawn to put opponents to sleep and Head Smash while the Rock Head ability prevents recoil damage. A move like Giga Drain will easily bring down the opponents.
