Something new. But yes, this is a small video I crafted to capture and perhaps represent Si in all the glory it deserves. Let me know what you think! Not a technical masterpiece by any means, but I'm still learning the tricks of the trade.

EDIT: Okay, so, I think a little bit of explanation is in order: I got really excited passing by the drainage ditch because I really did have this feeling that I recognized and described in the video. I then wondered if it were a "shadow" experience of Si, because it sounded like what an INFP friend of mine had described regarding it. In any case, I had this idea for a video just grow instantly in my mind, and even if it didn't really represent an aspect of Si, at least it might be something calming and philosophical for people. I enjoyed making it, anyway. I used to make films when I was much younger -- they were all terrible, obviously. But that filmmaking sense is still in me and I had ideas for shots and editing structure so I tried it out and I think it turned out reasonably well. There's some unfortunately technical issues that for some reason uploading to YouTube has caused to happen (the weird negative between shots, for instance). So...I mean...look up the definition of "amateur" in the dictionary and it will show you this video.

Let me just explain a few more things about the actual video itself: I started out running because I wanted to convey that sense of someone (myself) unused to Si experiences, treating it as though it were an Se experience -- by trying to capture the moment I felt it in a bottle, not understanding that it is something you carry with you all the time. I was running because I needed to get to the place before the sun set. But then the rest of the video is about the Si experience. Assuming it is an Si experience, obviously. I do think I got more towards what Si is for an INFP, than for a dominant Si type. I don't think ISFJs and ISTJs walk around in perpetual deja vu. But I have seen ISFJs experience flashbacks or moments of overjoyment when encountering particular objects, music, etc.

Anyway, I personally like the idea of just doing a little, simple series of eight videos, each being a little sketch or skit for one of the eight functions. Something artistic and with nuggets contained in it. Because I'm dominant Ni so I like packing a whole lot into each punch. There's a lot tangled up in this video, which I'm not even conscious of at a given moment. And....yeah, so, I may have gotten really excited after making this one that I've already made another one
