This is Part 1 of the long overdue Nokia N8 restoration video which I have been sitting on for about 2 years now. I got this N8 in 2020 and I believe it shipped from Latvia. It came in a flimsy reused packaging that was barely holding together and survived without any damage cause, of course its a Nokia..It had charge too lmao. But the phone itself has been used roughly in the past. It has a lot of dings and scratches and the previous owner has tried to get into it and failed after stripping all the screws. So in this Vintage Nokia Restoration video, phone restoration video, I will be restoring this phone to its original state and giving it a new paint job as well. The Nokia N8 was released in 2010 as a direct competitor to the iPhone 4 and was involved with a leak scandle before its launch. A Russian website managed to get its hands on a prototype Nokia N8 and review it before launch. I also own a Nokia N8 Prototype device that is very different from the final model. I have covered this prototype phone on my channel before. The Nokia N8 had a really good Nokia camera which was the best phone camera of 2010, ran Nokia Symbian, had great battery life, a sleek aluminum body, great extra features and many more. The Nokia N8 puts a lot of the best Nokia Phones of modern times to shame, relatively speaking. The Nokia N8 or Nokia N8-00 was also known for being one of the last great Nokia's before Nokia's downfall starting a few years later. It was also a multimedia phone as it was a Nokia N-Series premium phone and was highly promoted and advertised along with many photography competitions held by Nokia themselves. Its successor was the legendary Nokia 808 Pureview in 2012 right before Nokia Lumia took over with Nokia Windows Phone devices.
