Planned for every last Sunday of the month.
Unfortunately, this month's event was VERY foggy, visibility was as little as 50ft at times. Each time the drone returned, it was covered in condensation - fortunately, it seems to have survived.

As many of my videos have been on the Liverpool side of the River Mersey, perhaps its about time to explore some of The Wirral side!
First time using my DSLR, with new gimbal stabiliser, and trying to find the correct settings to make a smooth hyper lapse-type video!
Does it work?

"The Tower", Tower Road, Wallasey
Seems to have been a steam engine pump house, function now replaced by a much smaller adjacent modern building housing electrical pumps. Although, it is unlikely that the tower was the steam engine chimney as there were clock faces and balconies on the tower.
A quick plea for help on FB resulting in this find: https://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/industrial-sites/19775-central-hydraulic-tower-birkenhead-aug-2011-a.html What a spectacular staircase!

Liverpool Mountain
Location ( https://plus.codes/9C5VC224+C45 ) Mermaid Courtyard, Royal Albert Dock.
[Video begins with a speeded-up journey towards the sculpture.]
Not explicitly part of the River of Light festival, however it is located in the general area and is lit-up at night!
"Liverpool Mountain is Swiss-artist Ugo Rondinone’s first public artwork in the UK and the first of its kind in Europe. Inspired by naturally occurring Hoodoos (spires or pyramids of rock) and the art of meditative rock balancing, this 10-metre high sculpture stands within Mermaid Courtyard, outside Tate Liverpool on the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool. It consists of coloured rocks, stacked vertically which seem to defy gravity.
This outdoor sculpture marks the 10th anniversary of Liverpool European Capital of Culture, the 20th anniversary of Liverpool Biennial and the 30th anniversary of Tate Liverpool.
Commissioned by Liverpool Biennial and Tate Liverpool as part of the Liverpool 2018 events programme with support from Royal Albert Dock Liverpool." from https://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-liverpool/exhibition/ugo-rondinone-liverpool-mountain

For this class of UK aircraft carrier, this was the very first time the public have been invited onboard. For the 2 days it will be open for public viewing, about 13,000 free tickets were issued - all of them were claimed within 1 hour of the ticket office opening!
Public were invited into the forward hanger deck and were able to wonder around the various displays, and equipment. All of the rest of the ship was locked-off to the public.
Even so, it was very interesting. A variety of service personnel were represented - lots of different uniforms, including different actively armed personnel! Every member of staff who attended this event made themselves available for chatting with the public and answering technical, personal, and stupid questions!
Look out for the unfortunate member of staff who had the role of being the sparring-partner for the children to hit him with sticks!!!
[All video, sound was recorded "as-is" at this live event - some display stands had background music playing.]

On a number of occasions, I've seen this happen nearby to other cars - this is the first time I've had it happen to me while using a dashcam.
During this short video, there is quite a bit of jostling and multiple switching of lanes. Granted, the "problem" car does indicate to change lane to their right.
However, their lane change was made -
- 2nd indicator blinked after car's right wheels crossed the lane markers
- within about 2 dashes of the white lane markers
- with a car in front (white taxi) and to their right (me)
- while also very close to entering a junction
