Video from my stream where we talk about Compliance and Governance, and why is that important - then look at the service that can help us with tracking compliance - AWS Config! A neat little service that can show changes to configuration of our AWS resources, and gives us the ability to automatically remediate any potential drift!

Video from my latest live stream where I play around with AWS AppConfig. A neat little service that allows you to create, manage, and quickly deploy application configurations. AppConfig supports controlled deployments to applications of any size and includes built-in validation checks and monitoring. You can use AppConfig with applications hosted on EC2 instances, AWS Lambda, containers, mobile applications, or IoT devices.

In this episode of CodeShots we have a look at AWS AppConfig - a service that can help you manage and deploy application configuration items.
Things such as feature toggles, allow lists, toggles for chaos engineering and some more fun things.
Here I implement AppConfig with a Serverless Application running on AWS Lambda.

Today we are looking into some CDK code that Creates a Lambda function and an EFS storage layer for said function. This feature was recently released so I decided to look into it.
