Over the holidays, I built a new computer to replace my old computer which didn't work well for the Davinci Resolve video editing program. In the previous video, I updated my graphics card from a 750 Ti and 650 Ti to a new 2070 Super. With it's hardware encoding, it sped up the exporting speed, but the UI was still sluggish...so I luckily nabbed an AMD Ryzen 3950X over the holidays and built a new machine! I'm hoping to slowly upgrade this machine over the next decade! See you in 2030? :-)

Rode the Juiced Bikes CrossCurrent X with about 400 miles on it. I forgot to charge the bike, so I decided just to use the lower assist modes. Honestly, I probably didn't have to worry about that, so I should have used the throttle more!
I mounted the Yi 4K camera using a chest mount. It seems stable enough considering all the pedaling I was doing, but I should have mounted it higher to show less of the bike and more of the surroundings. Need to get a 4K computer rig so I can do post-process color adjustment!

TLDR - Had some issues with the battery connector. It's working now after working with the support team. Thinking it may go bad due to stripped threads on the male side. Enjoying the bike now!
Original Description (12/1/2018):
I bought a new Juiced Bikes CrossCurrent X. After assembling it, I found out that the LCD Display would not come on. After lightly tapping the battery, it seems to come on as well as turn off. From what I can tell, it seems the male prongs may not be the same length, and maybe one of them looks fatter and crushed. Right now, this bike doesn't seem safe to ride if it can be turned off just by hitting a rock or something.

- 12/01/2018: Assembled the bike. Wouldn't come on. Figured out light taps turn on and off the battery. Filed support ticket with video: https://youtu.be/4mnIJNTD4Rg
- 12/04/2018 - 12/12/2018: Juiced Support suggested to tighten the male connector. This seemed to fix the issue. Still I asked to return it after reading similar posts on this forum after I concluded the design is flawed. Juiced kindly gave me return label albeit 20% stocking fee. Decided to keep the bike... Couldn't persuade Juiced to send me a battery interface or male connector. Got new support person who asked me to go through pre-trip maintenance to fix the issue... so I decided to stop replying. It's OK. I was pretty annoying to them... Juiced Support responded each business day.
- 12/16/2018: Happily riding the bike to and from work. After 30 miles, 49V left. Will look into strapping in the battery like others.

I started to hear a random jingling noise like a set of plates sliding around from the rear trunk of my 2001 Accord. I thought it might be the brakes, so I took off the wheel and had a look. Without taking off the caliper, it seemed like the brake pads were just fine, but the inner pad was actually worn out! On the other hand, the outer pad wasn't nearly as bad. Anyway, now I know that worn out brakes don't necessarily make a constant screeching noise like I thought. Maybe I'll be able to do the next repair on my own!
