Old School Cool! My Grandfather used this HP 45 calculator for many years, including on a Space Shuttle related project. Now its time to give it a new lease on life.
This vintage HP 45 calculator was given to me by my grandfather a few years ago. It has no battery and I can clearly see that is because it leaked. In this HP calculator repair, we will take it apart and make sure everything is looking solid and clean before installing a replacement battery.
One feature I like is that this is a RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) calculator. I have used an HP 41C series RPN calculator as my daily driver since the late '80s.
RavenWolf Retro Tech gives you a new vintage tech video each week. From Retro Computing to older tech, such as the 1917 phonograph, 1916-Kilowatt meter & 1972 Tektronix Oscilloscope I have to show you. At RavenWolf Retro Tech we explore & restore vintage technology every week.
I will be giving you new videos as I can until the shop is completed. After that, I will release a new video every week.
