T's first. CT's later if you guys find this interesting. How closely do the models represent the hitboxes? Should we perhaps remove the models and just have the hitboxes showing, like terrifying michelin men roaming the map?
0:29 - FBI 0:58 - GIGN 1:30 - GSG9 2:07 - IDF 2:35 - SAS - Correction, these are only on SHORTTRAIN, not TRAIN 3:02 - SEAL - These are on Train instead :( 3:34 - SWAT
sv_showlagcompensation 1 to show the hitboxes should you like to test for yourselves.
It's tempting to look at the 5000 Mbps claims and to be like 'yes I must get this drive' but there's more to owning a storage device than raw megawiggles, and this video reveals the true reality of coexisting with these motherboard strap ons.

There is now no longer a limit to how long the files can be, and up to 20 minutes of 'pre-performed' footage can now be saved in Windows 7. Yay!
Really nifty, free little program that I can't believe has taken this long to be released! I've been trying it out for a couple of days and this video shows you what I think of it.
PROS
Really good performance
Flexible
Works with every game
60fps!
CONS
Only 10 minutes on Windows 7?! (Unlimited on Windows 8 / 20 minutes shadow mode)
Possible glitch that makes you DIE in games.
Only for newish Nvidia users.

Want to get a video file to put on youtube? Read this description. But first...
VIDEO CONTENTS
0:00 - How to record demos
0:17 - Viewing the demo
0:28 - Competitive games and their AWESOME recordings
0:48 - What makes these AWESOME?
0:59 - Remove all clutter from screen
1:08 - How to record the clips and get them into a video editor?
1:17 - Using demoui to browse through recordings
Competitive matches are automatically recorded. Unfortunately, the rest has to be manually recorded from your point of view.
A lot of you may want to know how to get things into a video format for youtube or things like that. You don't necessarily need this tutorial for that. Instead, use a program like... actually, just read the comments section, since everybody seems to have a personal favourite. I would say FRAPS but I'd get shot down because it's probably uncool, but it's served me well. Once you've done that, you need a program like Sony Vegas to put the video file in to, and to convert to a smaller file-size. It's not nice to try and upload a 4 GB+ video to youtube. I have a tutorial series on Vegas here:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfwtcDG7LpxHF2SKDTRqEADrDc5azhb-y
This video, in comparison, shows a sensible way of recording the games you play so that you can then REPLAY those games and record from that using a program like FRAPS. This is mainly down to size- recording a video using a console command is only about 10 MB per hour or what ever, compared with recording a video of it which can be 100,000 MB + per hour.
So yeah, use this method to record all of your games so you don't miss a great clip, then replay the video and record with FRAPS, before putting that video file into something like Sony Vegas.
Hope this clears up one of the internet's great mysteries, which I sadly assumed to be common knowledge. Sorry!

It's so exciting it needs capital letters! In this tutorial I'll show you how to make a platform escort you across a massive ravine of almost certain peril. Do it vertically and it will become a lift! Make a looping track and you can make a runaway train! Oooh exciting stuff.
As for a train which toggles between two points when you press the button, before stopping at its destination, I'd suggest measuring the distance between the two destinations (ie, 1024 units on the editor), and dividing it by the speed that the train moves at (such as 64 units per second). This leaves us with 16 seconds exactly between points, so you add 2 outputs to the button. On 0 seconds, start it, on 16 seconds, stop it. Perfect timing, every time. Have fun. (This is another reason to use proper measurements when making maps)

Sorry about this, this won't be a regular feature. I don't like minecraft videos either. However, I had one of the best days of my life EVER playing with my friends Rick Van Hale, TommyTTK and Tamsy Wamsy and thought I'd share a bit of it with you, since the first night was rather exciting and we all got destroyed. Mr Tom hadn't ever played before, which made it more interesting.
We played all day and that small house you see there eventually became a castle, and we built one of the largest phallic statues ever on the top of a cliff, spurting lava into the lake below. But that's another story.

All of the operation missions are out. You'll now only be limited by your own drive and the hours you have spare to do them.
