Ronnie O'Sullivan's 147 break against Mick Price in their second round tie at the 1997 world championship at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
He set a still-standing world record for the fastest maximum in the history of the game. Guinness World Records recorded the time of the break at 5 minutes and 20 seconds. However, an investigation undertaken by Deadspin in 2017 revealed that the time recorded by Guinness is incorrect because the timer was started too early on the BBC footage. Breaks are not officially timed in snooker and the official rules of snooker do not specify how they should be timed, instead leaving the timing to the discretion of the broadcaster.
The only timing methodology World Snooker sanctions in its events is the one employed in shot clock events where timing for a player's shot begins when the balls have come to rest from his opponent's previous shot. Under this convention the break would have been timed at 5 minutes and 15 seconds. However, World Snooker has since suggested that a break starts when the player strikes the cueball for the first time in a break which would result in a time of 5 minutes and 8 seconds, and this is the time that World Snooker now officially acknowledges.
Other Losses: An Investigation Into the Mass Deaths of German Prisoners at the Hands of the French and Americans After World War II.
The first edition of this controversial book caused an international scandal by claiming that almost one million German prisoners of war had died of starvation in American and French death camps after World War II.
In 1992, Bacque visited the newly-opened KGB archives where he discovered more evidence to support his claim. This revised edition of Other Losses presents all the relevant new material on the deaths plus new evidence of the suppression of truth by Western academics, press, and governments.
Nearly every culture throughout history has used chemicals that alter consciousness for spiritual exploration. In the 20th century these drugs caught the attention of scientists. Psychedelics, as they were named, proved effective at treating intractable illnesses like depression and addiction. And they became a tool for studying the mind, opening "the doors of perception," as Aldous Huxley wrote. But those doors slammed shut when President Nixon declared psychedelics dangerous and medically useless. Join scientists and "psychonauts" who are now picking up where research left off 50 years ago, experimenting with LSD, psilocybin, DMT and other psychedelics to heal—and reveal—the mind.

> The intention of this book is to define the doctrine of liberty - to forever dispel the lie that culture and law have a rightful claim over your life. You are not the property of any king, dictator or nation. While cultures teach that human freedom means anarchy, history shows clearly that what freedom truly brings to people is peace and prosperity. [Jeremy Locke]
The End of All Evil by Jeremy Locke and Narration by Gary Mahon.
Evil enslaves. Evil is found in words such as force, compulsion, tax, violence, theft, censure, and politics. Notice that in such things, there is no joy. None have any value to humanity.
This book defines the doctrine of liberty, and teaches you why choices that affect your life can only rightfully be made by you.
