The third generation of the FTN (Fuck the NFA) Suppressors.
Rifle rated, full auto rated.
Protip: buy some hockey tape
Update: -there is a typo in the material list. For the Hillman Bushing, the model number should be 883576 -The K can KAK file had an error, that has now been fixed as well -The dedicated 556 cans (which are experimental) have now been beefed up to solve baffle deformation issues
Updated 3/24/24 - minor fix to help with point of impact shift
Updated 3/28/24 - Added a longer breek file to fit long muzzle devices
22lr suppressor that is air cooled by using the venturi effect.
In a departure from all my other designs, this is printed upright, and does NOT require any external shell or reinforcement
Updated on 10/18: If you downloaded this when it first came out, please download new version. It was brought to my attention that the comp and spacer files were a couple mm too short to be perfectly flush. This new file fixes it.
The successor to the FTN and DMD series suppressors.
This uses no resin coating on inside, and has far superior heat tolerance.
Also multiple sizes including several pistol models small enough to use with suppressor height sights, and feature a "booster" system.
Designed for PLA+. Can also use CF/GF nylons.
FTN.3 style suppressor, remixed to be optimized for pistol caliber carbines. 9mm and 45acp models
Includes trilug with KVP trilug mount.
Also includes the "tax this dick" shroud
If you are a developer and you are looking for a license to use, there are several options.
If you are looking for a true FOSS license, this would not be it. FOSS, contrary to common belief, does allow for others to sell your design for profit. "Free" in FOSS means freedom of use, not free of charge.
This license is considered "source available" because source files are required for distribution. The only restriction is for others to sell the file. So it is a non-commercial license.
Why this one as opposed to any of the other noncommercial licenses out there?
For many of us, due to wanting to stay anonymous, there is zero chance we will actually take Defcad or other bad actors to court. The license states in plain english for anyone who reads it what our attentions are. The only court that matters to some of us is the court of public opinion.
Feel free to use if it suits your needs
****Note: the readme on the 5.7 can lists the wrong adapter. Instead of 5/8x24 it should say 3/4x16
