Ubuntu 22.04 upgrade from 20.04 and xmonad reinstall,
before you upgrade backup your data to an external drive
To upgrade to ubuntu 22.04 run the following command
sudo do-release-upgrade -d --allow-third-party
after upgrading to 22.04 you need to install the gnome-control-center
which is called settings in the application launcher, ubuntu seems to remove the settings app during the upgrade which is used to configure settings like wifi, sound etc
to install the gnome-control-center (settings app) run the following command after upgrading
sudo apt install gnome-control-center
ubuntu will install a snap version of firefox during the upgrade
to remove the firefox snap run the following command
sudo snap remove firefox

Analyse a video using ffmpeg scene detection to create a text file containing timecode of all the scene changes in a video
We can then convert the timecodes into a csv file containing the start point and duration of each scene and use ffmpeg to cut the video into the scene clips
