I'm driving Uber to get out of debt and have a little fun along the way! This channel will document the process of paying down all my debt while capturing some of my fun rides. In the end, it is my hope to entertain and perhaps even inspire others to drive Uber as a second or full time job, get out of debt, and overall be a great human to all the interesting and fun people they meet, whether in an Uber ride or not!

Uber can deactivate you for not wearing a mask during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I have my own thoughts on wearing a mask and about reaction to the virus as a whole. Personally, I'm not concerned, and when it comes to me and my rider, we will decide if we want to wear a mask. If this virus was bad like the Spanish Flu was, then perhaps I would have a different view. But if you look at the numbers of infected people and the mortality rate, it isn't nearly as significant as we are led to believe. I refuse to sacrifice my freedoms over something so silly. Seems simple, but that’s exactly what people in debt do, even when they are trying to get out of debt. I didn’t drive Uber this past weekend because I took a trip to Denver to see my sister and brother-in-law. They had been in Denver for nine years and it was the first time I was going to visit. At the time of my visit, they were one month away from moving to London. It was now or never to see them in this amazing city. Buying a plane ticket to see them wasn’t the best thing to do when in debt, but it can be excused because of what I just mentioned. However, the last thing I should have done when visiting was spend money. Unfortunately, that’s what I did. I spent money on things I didn’t need to spend money on. I bought clothing, I paid for meals, I played in a poker tournament. Overall, I spent about $300 I didn’t have. Once I got back from Denver, I had a handful of awesome memories, but also a pocket empty of cash. This video is my first ever Mission Uber Monday Report to where I will share the good, bad, and ugly of my mission to get out of debt. I don’t want to disguise anything along the way. Being transparent is the most important thing and I think people who are in my shoes will appreciate me being candid about this journey out of debt.
