Consider this a little bit of a speed-bump in our usual programming. This came off as a little more than a PSA than I was going for, but hey, I think it’s a good reminder that minors be among us. I first found out about TheFloofyBoy2 about two weeks ago when it was revealed on Twitter they were underage, and they seem to have put some distance between they and that in transitioning over to a new alt-account, The_FloofyFoxo. They repost a lot of NSFW VRChat and drawn content, answering invitations for sexy fun times with glee, sliding into peoples DM's, and remain active on both Twitter and VRChat. It’s honestly nothing new, and I’ve known former minors that engaged in that behavior (and got put on blast for it,) but it’s something that’s going on right now. It brought back a few unpleasant memories from years ago – it’s been a major problem on VRChat for years. The way they engage with people, either publicly or privately, reeks of desperation, willingness, and immaturity. I’d say report them if you spot them engaging in inappropriate behavior, as I still see people responding / reaching out to them for some action. Only a relatively small denomination of people seem to be fully aware of their true age. They're claiming to be 24 years of age and in a relationship already (with who, I can only imagine.) Also, while in the video I state the fact that they’re 16, if their Date of Birth is to be believed, they'll be turning 17 this month. Still a year off from being 18. Part 1: Calon and Sheila take a walk through the old city, going as far down as Burn Back Streets to people-watch and enjoy the sparse night life. A shout comes from the small crowd in present company as Calon is noticed by some of the locals who don’t appreciate his presence on this side of the Market District. They’re a group Calon recognizes in a passing glance, looking to square up and throw down. An unknown power intervenes, quickly breaking up the fight, with Calon left wondering what “higher power” operates here in the open without identifying themselves. After sparse conversation with some of the friendlier locals, he circles back to end the night, he and Sheila taking to the rooftops to look out over the city. Part 2: The gang step off the streets and up the stairs to their favorite bar and hangout, Dagons Drop, but something’s different today. They find an entirely new kind of clientele occupying the bar, apparently some group from the Streets that, unbeknownst to them, Calon had already had a run in with. Between heated words and passive epithets, they fight, though to an inconclusive end as the Bartender intervenes to end the fight with little more than a wave of his twelve-gauge. Forced to leave, the group mulls over their next course of action, reuniting with Calon who reports his progress from his last job. They make their way towards 4-Square, however, the streets are still very much dangerous, with undead freely coming and going along the outer edges of the district… A Forlorn Conclusion is an ongoing film series being uploaded to YouTube, broken up into episodes for your viewing pleasure. Filmed almost entirely on VRChat through the use of improvisational actors from all walks of life, this is an ongoing project following my novel and story ideas with bursts of creative input from the cast. This was really just a passion-project that I embarked upon months ago with the friends I made on VRChat as I took on being a movie-director as another one of my hobbies. One of the better episodes I’d managed to put together, in my opinion. In spite of it being a slow burn to start with, the story moves forwards much more quickly in a shorter span of time, with more in the way of events and spot on dialogue occurring all the while. I’d just like give a big thank you to everyone for being a part of this project and making all of this possible. I really appreciate your collective efforts and time spent in the making of this film series, and hope we can keep it going to the end, because there’s a lot more to come!
