Thriving in every season of life ! A woman's day special
As women, we face various seasons of life like season of joy and seasons of sorrow. One of the seasons in that is experiencing widowhood . But how we cope with it shows exactly who we are as it depends on the perspective of ourselves we have from God's word . We can look at life either with bitterness or thankfulness - Oh taste and see that the Lord is God, Psalm 34: 8 says Blessed is the man/woman who put's their trust in Him.

The song Nenjame Gethsemaneikku (நெஞ்சமே கெத்சமனேக்கு) is an old classic composed by Mr. J. Samuel. The lyrics vividly presents what it cost the Son of God to be the bearer of the sins of the whole world.

This is a song that I composed around late 1980's or early 1990's to express what seemed to me, the emphasis in the Word of God to be "future ready." Everyday useful, missional lives in every profession that is lived in the light of eternity surely has a blessed expectation that will not be disappointed. The words of the song are given below.
KINGDOM PEOPLE
Kingdom people, don't you sleep now
Look around you, see the harvest
Kingdom people, don't put roots down
for this world is not where you belong
Kingdom people, lift your voices
To the Father to send out many more
To the harvest, to reap the harvest
Before it is gone.
Kingdom people, put on the armour
Join in the warfare against the foe
Kingdom people unite together
For this world is not where you belong
Kingdom people love one another
As the Lord is calling us to do
Kingdom people build up each other
Because we're one.
Kingdom people, ask your Father
To mould and make you as He wills
Kingdom people
You are pilgrims
For this world is not where you belong
Kingdom people just remember
The Lord is coming again
Kingdom peopleIt's just a while now
Before we're home.

Episode 15 of "அவர் நாமம் இயேசு" ("Avar Naamam Yesu" - His Name is Jesus) God called Moses and asks him "what is in your hand?" God does not ask of us that which we do not have. What we have when placed in His hand, is used to serve many people.
The song which Meghala sings in this presentation is "Azhaippin Kural."

These songs are Scriptures set to tune to aid Scripture memorization. The verses are all from the New International Version 1984 edition (used with permission). These verses are reliable and worth memorizing. However there is a more recent version of NIV (2011) which we do not recommend* (please read disclaimer below).
All songs were set to tune by Rampert Ratnaiya and this version of "Scriptunes" was released around 2002 (remix) by the Friends Missionary Prayer Band. Many people put their shoulders to this project. Ashok Vedhanayagam initiated this remix on behalf of Friends Missionary Prayer Band. The various singers are as follows.
1. Caleb Martin
2. Maxyn Kingston
3. Meghala Ratnaiya
4. Mukesh Mark
- The narrations are by Mrs. Grace Paul Wesley and Dr. Clement Felix
- The choral arrangements are by Augustine and the choir comprises of Augustine and friends.
- The Drum Programming, Recording and Mixing is by Josiah Heflin.
- The Electric Guitar was played by Bennett Emmanuel.
- All other instruments were orchestrated and sequenced by Rampert Ratnaiya.
*I DO NOT endorse the new 2011 version of NIV which in trying to be "politically correct" and has serious misrepresentations. When we used the 1984 version for Scriptunes, we found that version to be reliable and all the verses that we have used are worth memorizing. Zondervan (the publisher) is not in Christian hands any more. It is now a division of Harper Collins.
