*35 YEARS OF THE ROUTE SPECIAL* FRV on the 307 Brimsdown - Barnet Hospital
Never going to stop doing what I love!
Bus birthdays will always be in my heart. I started celebrating anniversaries of bus routes when I first became a bus enthusiast. Despite getting bullied/criticised for celebrating birthdays of bus routes, I will always celebrate them since it's my favourite thing to do in this hobby.
The 307 bus route commenced operation on the 27th September 1986 replacing the 107 bus route between New Barnet and Brimsdown. The route first ran from Brimsdown to Barnet Church on weekdays and Barnet Arkley Hotel on weekends and was operated by Eastern National.
Today the 307 runs from Brimsdown to Barnet Hospital using mostly Enviro 400s but also gemini 3s, MCV EvoSetis and gemini 2s and is operated by Metroline.

Stockwell bus garage has commenced operation 70 years ago in 1952. They only operated one route which was the 178 (Victoria - Norwood)Today they operate 13 bus routes.
This was a nice event imo. I enjoyed having a tour through the bus wash. It was a nice way to end the week for me.

Ngl, Enfield Lock is a very interesting station imo. I like how it has a level crossing. Brimsdown also has this. I recommend you doing train observations at these stations tbh.
