With a large number of people working from home for the next few weeks (including myself) I thought a "Do Not Disturb" indicator would be a fun project build.
It's built using an ESP8266 and some neopixels.

In this video we are going to take a look at using the built-in Bluetooth of the ESP32 to emulate a Bluetooth Keyboard.
With some ESP32 development boards starting at less than $5 delivered, this is a really inexpensive and simple way to create wireless custom keyboards such as a Macro keypad that could be used for controlling scenes in OBS.
We’ll first look at how to use the ESP32 HID keyboard library and then I will show you how I used this to build a battery powered Bluetooth Macro Keypad.

In this video we will look at the process of reverse mounting LEDs so they shine through your PCB which gives a really nice diffused effect!
I recently posted an image on twitter of a tester board I designed for trying out different mounting positions for side mounted LEDs and the tweet generated some interest so I thought it might be worth making a video about it.

Two Minute Tidbits are roughly two minute long videos that try show you something interesting about working with Arduino.
In this video I’m going to show you the Portable version of the Arduino IDE and explain why it’s actually really useful, I even exclusively use the portable version where I can. It is really useful if you have library conflicts between different sketches
You basically just download a zipped version of the IDE and create a "portable" folder, but what I think is more interesting is why you might want to use it.
