At times, you may need to duck under tight spaces, and at times, you may need to ascend with the waterfalls to go through openings. Once you reach the end, enter the pipe and you’ll reach the goal.

Archeops will use Rock Slide to make opponents flinch and Endeavor to make the opponent match the amount of HP the user has left. Aggron will use Autotomize to raise its Speed stat and Double-Edge for huge damage while the Rock Head ability prevents recoil damage. Lapras will use Sing to put opponents to sleep. Haxorus holds a Focus Sash that prevents it from fainting in one blow if its HP is full. Make sure you have a good variety of moves for this battle. After winning, you’ll unlock some post-game quests.

Surge is skilled in using Electric type Pokémon. Raichu will combo with Thunder Wave and Focus Punch. It will also use Volt Tackle for big damage but also hurting itself in the process. Electrode will use Double Team to evade attacks and Electro Ball if it’s faster than the target. Magnezone will use Magnet Rise to foil all Ground type moves for 5 turns and Discharge to paralyze opponents. Electivire will use Ice Punch if Ground type targets are around and Cross Chop for critical hits. Jolteon will use Quick Attack to strike first and Volt Switch to switch out. Lanturn will use Thunder to paralyze opponents and confuse them using Signal Beam. A move like Earthquake would be useful for this battle.

After a Goomba comes by at the start, a few Paratroopas and a Paragoomba will come next. A Piranha Plant will come from the pipe, shooting fireballs, and a Spiny will appear from the hill. If you bounce off a Paratroopa, you can go up a pipe to a secret room to collect a few coins. Use the pipe to go back outside and hit a P Switch to make the coins and garbage blocks trade. After passing a few more pipes, you’ll reach the goal.

After obtaining the Fog Badge, go to the Union Cave and use Surf to reach the lowest floor of the cave. On Friday, a Lapras will be wandering in the underground lake of the cave. Save your game before interacting with it. Lapras is on Level 20. Since Lapras is Water/Ice type, Net Balls would be the best choice to catch it.
