Star Wars Made Daisy Ridley Sick
During the opening tour for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, actress Daisy Ridley lost weight and saw herself becoming a Ghost. She went to the doctor and discovered she had issues with her stomach from all the stress. The photos from the London premier of The Last Jedi are what led Daisy Ridley to realize something was wrong.
Daisy Ridley took six weeks off from the acting world and did her laundry. Since she had time, she didn't need to smash it. Now Daisy is more relaxed and really loving her work/life balance. Daisy believes Rey of the Disney Trilogy is a well balanced and strong female character. Rey has to fight for what she has and commands to lead. Rey is the Last Jedi and the one Force that will stop Kylo Ren and the First Order. Daisy Ridley is sad to see if all end with The Rise of Skywalker.
Previously, there were some rumors that The Last Jedi actress might be pregnant. Those rumors about Daisy Ridley turned out to be false and was just weight gain due to recovering from her illness. Now that she is more relaxed, Daisy Ridley looks better than ever and has returned to her classic appealing looks. Daisy Ridley is not buying baby yoga DVDs and looks forward to her life post Star Wars. Daisy is sad that shooting for The Rise of Skywalker has ended and the Skywalker saga will soon come to an end. Daisy doubts she will ever play Rey again.
Daisy Ridley does miss John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. The filming of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has ended, the reshoots are complete, all that remains is the film to be edited well enough for audiences to like it. J. J. Abrams has a tall order in front of him. Daisy Ridley does not like the end of The Rise of Skywalker. John Boyega and Oscar Isaac cannot watch the end of The Rise of Skywalker. Reports state that test audiences have walked out on The Rise of Skywalker. Disney Star Wars ends with a whimper.
The Mandalorian does have Star Wars fans talking again. What does Daisy Ridley think of baby Yoda? Will baby Yoda see the end of the season? A grown up baby Yoda does appear at the end of The Rise of Skywalker.

For a second time, a petition to replace Brie Larson with a gay woman of color is making the rounds and nearing 30,000 signatures. Bryon Lape reported on this petition back in May 2019, but it has come up again. Fans who support this petition want to see a Monica Rambeau as Captain Marvel and not the Carol Danvers imposter of the modern incarnation. Various rumors have stated that Monica will be a part of Captain Marvel 2, so having her as a version of Ms. Marvel is still possible.
On the same day the petition came back to life, Brie Larson announced she had some demands to be met if she is to be a part of Avengers 5. Though the exact timeframe for Captain Marvel 2 and Phase 5 have not been fully announced, Brie Larson stated she wanted to make the same money as her Avengers co-stars. Rumor also has it that Marvel wants Tom Holland's Spider-Man to take on the lead of the Avengers going forward, though the most likely road has Captain Marvel and Spider-Man in a co-learship role similar to Iron Man and Captain America. Brie Larson was payed much more the first Captain Marvel movie than Robert Downy, Jr. was for Iron Man, so the call for more money seems misplaced. How will Marvel handle the demand?
Much has been made previously about Kevin Feige deciding to bring Captain Marvel into the MCU so late in the game. Rumors between Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olson started quite soon with some stating Olson was not happy her Scarlet Witch character was placed behind Captain Marvel. The announced Disney+ show Wandavision has helped to alleviate some of the bad feelings, but it is a cosmic wonder as to their roles in the MCU phase 5. Tony Stark may also return as some manner of a hologram and give advice to Peter Parker and Carol Danvers. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is wide open for the future.
