As a leftist, I cheered the media attacks on conservative politicians when they had a scandal. However, as a libertarian conservative, I see now how double standard media is towards Liberal scandals. If any Liberal were honest with themselves, they would agree that if a Conservative had the scandals Trudeau has had, OUTRAGE through media propaganda would force them out of politics. An example is what they did to Harper, who wasn't my favorite Prime Minister. His policy on first nation transparency. The media created the narrative or ran with opposition talking points that it was racist of Harper to introduce this policy even though indigenous people across many first nations were advocating for it themselves. But, of course, the media didn't give that side of the story. They were like the clip on the right side of the video above. Imagine for a moment these examples below were about a Conservative Prime Minister. Ask yourselves, would the left and mainstream media in Canada try to paint a Conservative Prime Minister as racist if this was their record. * After making a public statement that all women should be believed during the ME TOO movement when they come forward with sexual assault allegations. Has a woman come forward with a sexual assault allegation, deny it multiple times until evidence surfaces and change their response to "she experienced it differently" or "If I had known she was a journalist, wouldn't have touched her." * Black face three times. * Accepts gifts from someone who lobbies the government. * Pressures an indigenous woman minister to violate her oath of office, and when she speaks truth to power, fires her. * Accused of bullying behavior against a black woman and an indigenous woman. * When an indigenous group attended a rally to protest the Prime Minister, and while the protestors were being pulled out by security, gives the protestors a smug look and said thanks for your donation. (The cost to attend $1500) * An indigenous girl fights the government in court for a $6,000 dental procedure, and the Prime Minister chooses to pay over $100,000 in legal fees to fight her.
