One of our local customers did a stellar build with a DK2+ and a NLR traction loss platform. We are still evaluating yaw, surge and sway. It's a tough thing to execute on well.

Custom skid plates are used on our full motion, full travel vehicle simulators to prevent crawling out of place. The two plates, CNC'ed from billet aluminum sit between two Teflon pads. The lower pad has small machined features which bite into carpet and other surfaces. The top plate cradles the wheel and allows for up to 3" of side or lateral movement per plate, which in this case is enough for up to 12" of travel per wheel.
