Frederic Chopin was a Polish composer and pianist, one of the leading musicians of his era. When he was 21, he settled in Paris which was the cultural center of Europe at that time. All of his compositions include the piano, most of them just for solo piano, though he also wrote two piano concertos some songs with Polish lyrics, and a few chamber pieces. He died in Paris in 1849 at the age of 39, probably of tuberculosis.

Que Sera, Sera - Whatever Will Be, Will Be - is a song that Doris Day interpreted in Alfred Hitchcock's movie The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956). The words of the first verse of the song:
When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother: What will I be?
Will I be pretty?
Will I be rich?
Here's what she said to me
Que sera sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera sera
What will be, will be.
