Monster Hunter Rise - Part 41 HR Pukei-Pukei & HR Rathian
Here is the second video of compromised audio, so you get to see the set I used on the elder trio in action here.
For Pukei-Pukei, he still doesn't really have that much going for him. If you want a poison weapon for Kushala, you will need either him or Rathian (worst case scenario, both). Otherwise, you could look into poison knives or other poison bombs to inflict the status. I stand by my comments about poison being the weakest status effect in the game, and even Kushala may not be enough to justify seriously using one of those weapons.
As for Rathian, I don't really notice anything different between her low and high rank. I've fought her so many times that there may be something that I just tune out by now. She will not stay in the air as long as Los will, so Flash Bombs are not required, but could give you some additional windows to attack from.
If you don't need poison gear, move onto the next part and see if something there happens to be what you need.

There are still some loose ends for us to tie up here, and some of them are DLC as I will face the Harlot, Trumpeter, and Mephisto in this part. Other than those, we tackle Huang Long, the final choose your side, Fionn, and Khonsu. The latter of those two are important as they can seal one of the ending routes on the playthrough, forcing you to go through again.

This is not part of the base game and you have to buy some DLC to make Cleo appear. She is actually pretty strong for the stage of the game you can recruit her, but I do not know how long-lived she will be compared to other end game demons.
To make her really easy, make sure you are protected against Bufu, Hama, and Charm and she largely can't do anything to you, allowing you to bring her down even earlier than intended. Being able to hit her with darkness will yield bonus turns, possibly making this even faster. She can draw out the fight with Frolic's debuffs, so you will want to either wipe those with Dekunda or replace them with buffs of your own.
Upon her defeat, she will attempt suicide, and you can stop her to recruit her immediately or let her go and fuse her later. I will be fusing her again later as the Prayers I've accumulated can make her a statistical wrecking ball with a little bit of help.

I never got around to farming the Apex monsters, and personally I don't think they should have crowns at all. We have to fight them a minimum of 14 times if we want one of each weapon, and unless you want variants of the weapons, you really have no incentive to fight them again. They have one unique drop that is only used for Rampage weapons, but otherwise everything else they offer is the same as their normal version. To my knowledge, the rare drops don't change at all, making it even more counter-intuitive. The kicker to all of it though is that for some reason one of them was chosen to have an event quest, forcing you to fight a meaningless fight all the more.

I think the window to get Zeraora has closed, and there has been no word on how you're supposed to get him in the future. This is heartbreaking because he is a monster and definitely one of the better junglers in the game (if we continue using LoL/DotA terminology).
Zeraora starts with a single damage and utility move, but the utility move can deal damage in the future. I'm partial to Volt Switch since you can dive in and bail out with it, but I know the alternative is pretty popular too as it gives you a lot of gap closers to work with. His Discharge really reminds me of Shazam from Infinite Crisis and it is a very solid move (like with Shazam). I don't know the specifics of his ult, but your other moves activate and you're a lot faster afterward. Also worth mentioning is that Zeraora has CC in his auto where every 3rd hit is supposed to paralyze.
In terms of items, I wanted stuff to boost his attack power. Getting some attack speed helps with the jungle clear too, and the crit item allows me to randomly turn fights around. I imagine one day there will be more items that are better suited for him, but we will need to wait until that day comes.
So yeah, I have to admit I am really impressed with what we see here. I will try to get a longer game of him so you can see how he transitions further, but this will have to suffice for now.

I could not get to face Murray, so I ultimately come back to knock him off. The beginning of this video is actually pre-Science in the previous video, just to give some time frame.
As for the Psychic Club, the only one worth worrying about is Murray as he has Alakazam to move damage around, PokeCenters to heal them, and Invisible Walls to hide behind. Since he does not run a Gambler card, it is fairly easy to deck him instead. It gets more complicated if you have the energy removal capability to basically tie him up indefinitely.

I am not putting this one in the multiplayer playlist on account of me not being in voice chat with the people I'm playing with. This was just an instance of me knocking out the rampage quests for the newest Apex monsters and allowing randoms to hop in.
I think Zinogre is the final Apex, so I need to knock out a different monster before I can put his parts to use. By now, I should have duplicates of all of Zinogre's rare drops, so the only reason for me to fight this is for HR or his Apex materials.
In terms of equipment, this is my Shotgun set, which emphasizes Spread and Shrapnel as those are extremely effective in this mode. I have Spread level 3, recoil dampeners, and a few other tricks up my sleeve for this particular gun. If I get back into the game, I will want to look up what options I have for rapid fire spread and shrapnel to see if there are better options than the Magnamalo LBG. In the absolute worst case scenario, this may be a strong case for me making a Rampage LBG to take advantage of it.
