About Mancow:
Mancow Muller has been a fixture on national radio for 30 years. Muller's radio career began while he was in college at KOKO in Warrensburg as a late night control board operator, playing local commercials during satellite broadcasts of The Larry King Show.
His role at the station gradually expanded until he got his own afternoon show. Among Muller's fans was the general manager of KLSI-FM, Kansas City, who offered him a full-time job as head of station promotions. In 1990, Muller was hired as the morning drive air talent at Kansas City's KBEQ-FM, Q-104 under the moniker "Holy Moley Muller". The Holy Moley & Maxx Show quickly rose to #1 in the ratings.
Soon after, he adopted his college nickname and the "Mancow" Persona was born. Mancow went to San Francisco KYLD-FM, "Wild 107" where he made national headlines reacting to the infamous story about Bill Clinton had tying up air traffic at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for over an hour while getting a haircut (or WAS it a haircut?) aboard Air Force One.
Mancow staged a parody of the incident on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge during rush hour. He used vans to block the westbound lanes on the bridge while his then-sidekick, Jesus "Chuy" Gomez, received a haircut.
He then moved to Chicago where he became a legend of Chicago radio with his show Mancow's Morning Madhouse at WRCX-FM (Rock 103.5) and then WKQX-FM (Q-101) 101.1. The show was famous for it's cast of characters, including DJ Luv Cheez, Turd the Bartender, Al Roker Jr., Freak, and Cowboy Ray. During its 12 year run it was the highest rated show in all of Chicago radio. Mancow also had a daily segment on Fox and Friends during that period for several years.
Mancow's show moved to the legendary station"The Loop FM" WLUP until the station was sold to a Christian Rock Station in March of 2018. Shortly after Mancow moved to WLS, but decided to leave the world of corporate censorship in November of 2020.
In August of 2021, Mancow launched “Monday Night Live with Mancow.” The live, weekly program covers current events and includes “Microagressions,” a series of short webisodes featuring random thoughts and content from the Mancow archives.
The new live podcast broadcasts on Mondays at 8pm on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and Rumble. “We wanted to create the least amount of friction possible between our listeners and our content and ensure that if we get censored or de-platformed by the tech-monopolies, there are plenty of additional options to access our show,” Mancow said in a release. “The new Mancow 2.0 is pure Mancow minus the well-paid annoying sidekick chuckleheads. Everything we hear now is pre-chewed corporate pablum puked into America’s psyche. This is something else.”
