Final Fantasy III (3D Remake) {Part 9} - Dwarven Hollows and Subterranean Lake
Visited the Dwarven Hollows and briefly retrieved their horn of ice from Gutsco the Rogue. Of course he ended up tricking us and getting both of the horns afterwards, but that's for another video. :)
This system is WAY easier than Circe. Had it not been for dumb luck, I would have beat this mission on the first try. Maybe had I brought a better wingman...
Again video game logic, or lack thereof, raised its ugly head. I had to fight the first wave of Gothri fighters twice and miraculously it was like they had never been damaged in the first place when I met them the second time. Also, this getting shot in the face upon launch is getting really old. Not only from a gameplay perspective, but from a video editing perspective too! I couldn't edit out my death to my satisfaction.
To the moon! The moon itself isn't all that big, but there are still a few areas up there to explore, but for now I met up with Fusoya to advance the storyline.
I didn't realize how long it would take to go through this hotel. We're reintroduced to spider splicers here as well. Fortunately they're as squishy as they were in BioShock 1.
Well, I stopped the bomb from going off. I think. Obviously something is afoot here though. I thought the Jim Gordon scene was a dream, but apparently it may have been a flashback. Having said that, things seem to be heating up here now.
This map looks really small, but I know it can't possibly be that small. I've found 1 vacuum bot and rescued the first little sister shortly after leaving the ocean area.
The rest of the components needed for the first summoning test are gathered here along with all of the protection runes, even though I only needed the Wisdom rune for the first test. A weird quirk with the game delayed the summoning for a bit, but it's well known and in my strategy guide.
