Kyrkan är Guds hus. Kyrkan är dit vi kommer för att tillbe Gud, och kyrkan är där vi förenar oss i gemenskap med andra troende under Guds auktoritet.
Kyrkan är en viktig del av att vara en hängiven kristen. I den apostoliska trosbekännelsen (200 e.Kr.) står det - "Jag tror på den heliga kyrkan, detta uttalande betonar vikten av att delta i kyrkan."
Gud vill att du ska veta att att gå i kyrkan är en integrerad del av att vara kristen.
För vissa kristna är Gud deras himmelske far, Jesus är deras Herre och den Helige Ande är deras förespråkare, men de vill undvika att gå i kyrkan regelbundet.
Det finns en anledning till att Gud vill att hans barn ska besöka hans hus ofta. Kyrkan är inte bara en plats för att tillbe Gud och gemenskap med andra troende, den är en helig plats där du kan bli renad, återupplivad, förnyad, återställd och uppfriskad i Guds närvaro och i hans ord.
Gud säger till oss i Hebreerbrevet 10:24-25:
”Och låt oss ge akt på varandra så att vi uppmuntrar till kärlek och goda gärningar. Låt oss inte överge våra sammankomster, som somliga brukar göra, utan förmana varandra och detta så mycket mer som ni ser att dagen närmar sig.”

Det är mycket behagligt för Gud när hans barn är samlade i hans hus för att tillbe i hans närvaro och gemenskap med andra troende.
Som gemenskap, som stad, som stat, som land måste vi förenas som en värld. Vi måste förenas som en kropp i Kristus för att återupprätta kyrkan och återuppliva Guds ord i vårt dagliga liv och i livet för dem som går vilse.

Satan angriper oss mest ondskefullt efter en tid av välsignelse.
I vår Herres fall (Lukas 4) var det omedelbart efter hans dop och efter en tid av intim gemenskap med sin Fader. Satan ville att Jesus skulle ifrågasätta sitt förhållande till sin Fader: 'Om du är Guds Son' (v. 3).
På ett liknande sätt försöker han få de troende ifrågasätta sin frälsning. Satan använder vårt nuvarande område av svaghet. I vår Herres fall relaterade den första frestelsen till hans hunger efter en så lång fasta.
Satan har stor makt över världens riken (v. 5, 6). Han hävdar att deras auktoritet och ära tillhör honom. Det är värt att notera att Herren motstår honom utan att ifrågasätta faktumet med Satans jordiska makt.
Satan känner till Skriften och vrider den till sin fördel. Här citerar han medvetet, utifrån sitt sammanhang, löftet i Psalm 91:10, 11: ”Ingen olycka skall drabba dig, ingen plåga närma sig din hydda. Ty han skall ge sina änglar befallning om dig att bevara dig på alla dina vägar.”
Vår Frälsare hånar inte djävulen utan svarar på hans lockelser med Skriften.
Peter varnar oss för att djävulen är en motståndare lika tuff som ett rytande lejon (1 Petrus 5: 8).
Aposteln Paulus säger att vi behöver rustning för att möta honom (Ef 6:11).
Bland de föremål i denna rustning som listas av Paulus är ”Andens svärd, som är Guds ord” (Ef 6:17). Herren Jesus är naturligtvis helt bekant med Guds ord och använde det för att motstå djävulen.
Satan är en formidabel fiende, men hans strategier kan motverkas. Kristi exempel lär oss att Satans lögner och frestelser kan övervinnas genom att försiktigt motsätta honom med Skriften.
Den andliga vapenrustningen (Efesierbrevet 6)
10 Till sist, bli starka i Herren och i hans väldiga kraft. 11 Tag på er hela Guds vapenrustning, så att ni kan stå emot djävulens listiga angrepp. 12 Ty vi strider inte mot kött och blod utan mot furstar och väldigheter och världshärskare här i mörkret, mot ondskans andemakter i himlarna. 13 Tag därför på er hela Guds vapenrustning, så att ni kan stå emot på den onda dagen och behålla fältet, sedan ni fullgjort allt. 14 Stå alltså fasta, spänn på er sanningen som bälte kring era höfter och kläd er i rättfärdighetens pansar 15 och sätt som skor på era fötter den beredskap som fridens evangelium ger. 16 Tag dessutom trons sköld. Med den kan ni släcka den ondes alla brinnande pilar. 17 Tag emot frälsningens hjälm och Andens svärd som är Guds ord. 18 Gör detta under ständig åkallan och bön och bed alltid i Anden. Vaka därför och håll ut i bön för alla de heliga.

Attentions are so fractious, that the media doesnt have its power to check government anymore, which is why it’s got the 1A.
Characterizing “the media” as adversarial to the People is true, no doubt. Corporate media is absolutely owned & manipulated against the good of the People.
But I’m not sure the audience is with “mainstream media” anymore. I think Americans’ attentions are widespread and varied, and I believe the evidence is the sheer number of podcasts and shows.
The issue here, then, in my mind, is the opportunity for legacy power brokers to do what they want and with a greater expectation that they’ll get away with it.
It’s as though the consumers of media have a bigger buffet table of viewpoints, which has made our appetite for news more akin to a Golden Corral and less, if it ever was, for a fancy steakhouse.
I believe the “so what” here is that Americans no longer see the same story for our country. One audience believes everyone is racist while another only watches bread & games while another is about looking presentable and other are about politics while others believe unverifiable things.
This is why it’s important for Christians to read, believe, & live as though the Bible is true.
We have the One to look at & follow, and in the disarray of multiple viewpoints, our following Christ will be a unified perspective that endures & overcomes the many different stories & narratives of the army of podcasts & shows."
