Many people struggle with weight loss and are looking for quick solutions. Sadly, there are no magic pills or diets. The truth is, most people are eating too much and not moving enough. Before there was technology, people moved a lot more and ate less. Now many people spend a lot of time sitting, which is not biologically normal. Our physiology has not adapted to technology.
Tip 1- Eat less. Cut portion sizes. See how little you can eat without starving.
Tip 2- Stay hydrated. Don't mistake thirst for hunger.
Tip 3- Change your eating schedule. You don't have to eat 3 meals. Dr. Cori's rule- If you're not hungry, don't eat1
Try Intermittent Fasting- eat two meals between 12pm-8pm. Many people find this helps with weight loss
Tip 4- Choose your food wisely. Don't eat only carbs at a meal. Keep it balanced with good quality fat and protein to slow down the carbs conversion to fat. Try a different food ratio like Keto- mostly fat, with some protein and a small amount of carbs. Or Paleo- mostly protein and veggies with some good fat. If you want to go vegan, make sure you're eating enough protein and getting Vitamin B-12.
Tip 5_ Try Coleus Forskohlii, an herb that helps with metabolizing fat, reduces weight gain, lowers blood pressure and is good for your heart and helps support thyroid function.

Low energy is a very common complaint I hear from patients.
