For the last christmas themed project this year, I decided to turn a christmas tree topper. The whole thing is made out of stone pine, is about 47 cm long and the biggest sphere has a diameter of 9cm. To reduce weight, the three spheres I hollowed all three spheres.

Woodturning - Spalted Log To Bell
Almost too late for a christmas ornament, but here it is. I turn a spalted log of alder into a bell. Not 100% satisfied with the result, as there is still quite a bit of tear out on the finished piece because of the spalted wood.
Also have to get some heavier weights for the tripod or come up with another mounting method for the camera to get rid of the annoying shaking, whick occurs at some points in the video
