Perfect Dark Perfect Agent Playthrough (Actual N64 Capture) - Deep Sea Nullify Threat
This is part 14 of my capture of me playing through the solo missions of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. This is not an emulator. This footage was captured directly from my Nintendo 64 using an actual Perfect Dark cartridge. I'm playing on Perfect Agent difficulty.
The beginning part of this mission can be really annoying because of how fast the guards keep moving and how they have a ridiculous aim. Once I get their attention I like to pull back and get Elvis to drop them, although I try to help with my shotgun.
There's one hidden weapon here, and it's the Proximity Mines. In the second room filled with guards there's a guard to the far left. Apparently, if you kill him before Elvis does, he'll drop some the mines. Sometimes you can lose track of that guard though because he'll move as soon as the other guards spot you.
A pair of guards always appear right after Elvis activate the teleportals, so I placed a mine near that spot and waited for the guards to unwittingly blow themselves up.
Aside from that, this mission is fairly straightforward. I think it's more enjoyable on the lower difficulties though.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the official N64 S-video cable with native widescreen mode enabled. I used a Toshiba model D-R550 DVD Recorder to upconvert the N64's native 240p signal to 480i so that the Hauppauge could capture the console's audio/video signal.
This was a Reign of Terror that I got 8/24/12 using my SPAS loadout. What's weird is that my batteries died right in the middle of the match, yet I still got a Reign of Terror. No one even bothered to shoot me while I was stuck in place (when I was changing the batteries in my remote). Oh well, their loss.
If you watch closely, you'll notice that the cursor started becoming twitchy after I reconnected the Wii remote. That's because Motion Plus became disabled when the batteries died. Motion Plus steadies the cursor quite a bit (making sniping a lot easier), but if your remote dies, you have to turn Motion Plus back on in the options and restart your system to enable it again.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the Wii's component cables. I'm using the nunchuck and Motion Plus.
This is part 4 of my capture of me playing through Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 for the Game Boy Advance. This is not an emulator. This footage was captured directly from my GameCube using my Game Boy Player with progressive scan mode enabled (you'll need the GameCube's component cables to do this and your model of GameCube must support component out as well).
In this fourth part I completed the Twin Bridges area.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the GameCube's component cables at 60 frames per second. I'm using an original model Game Boy Advance as a controller via a GameCube/Game Boy Advance Link Cable.
Here are some of my better matches from last night. Enjoy.
Recorded with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 and the Switch's HDMI cable at native 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. I'm using a Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa joystick.
This is part 8 of my capture of me playing through Top Gear 2 for the SNES. This is not an emulator. This footage was recorded directly from my Super Nintendo using an actual Top Gear 2 cartridge. I'm playing on Championship difficulty and using an automatic transmission.
In this eighth part I completed all of the races in India.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the official SNES S-video cable at 60 frames per second. I used a Toshiba model D-R550 DVD Recorder to upconvert the SNES's native 240p signal to 480i so that the Hauppauge could capture the console's audio/video signal.
I'm using a Super Advantage joystick.
This is part 15 of my capture of me playing through Final Fantasy II (aka Final Fantasy IV) for the SNES. This is not an emulator and was not played on the Wii Virtual Console. This footage was recorded directly from my Super Nintendo using an actual Final Fantasy II cartridge.
In this fifteenth part I headed to the Land of Summoned Monsters and learned the Asura and Leviathan summon spells.
Asura boss fight - 17:49
Leviathan boss fight - 22:30
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 and the official SNES S-video cable at 60 frames per second. I'm using a standard SNES controller.
So Jaye (Mindesyn) from Conduit 2 is actually into Monster Hunter Hunter quite a bit, and he even has a higher rank hunter than me. I decided that we absolutely had to do some hunts, so he grabbed his roommate, Moti, and together with a random fourth person, we killed a bunch of monsters in the afternoon.
In this first hunt Jaye wanted to kill a Gigginox, so we did that. Our fourth, random member was a really high rank Gunner (in the HR 500+ range), and that guy was awesome. I love playing with Gunners.
I was using my Escadora (Alatreon) armor and Sinister Saints switch axe here. This axe normally has no elemental phial, but thanks to the Awakening buff on my armor, it added +500 fire to the weapon.
The members of this hunt were:
Mike (me)
Sardonis (Jaye)
Moti (Jaye's roommate)
Clyde
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the Wii's component cables. I'm using the classic controller.
It has been a while since I've done this. Good old Loadout # 1.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the Wii's component cables. I'm using a nunchuck and Motion Plus.
This is part 21 of my capture of me playing through Super Mario Sunshine for the GameCube. I'm playing the game in progressive scan mode using an actual GameCube (not the Wii). I'm collecting all 120 shine sprites in the game.
In this twenty-first part I collected all the blue coins in Sirena Beach.
Shine Sprites collected in this video:
