The 3.3v to NAND only draw 90mA. So the power is directly from the u-Link NAND. Program the openWRT on MR33 only need to replace the u-boot (2012 version) and ubi. The process is easy and fast.(about 10 min) ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nCkiAG1Dsw
The procedure of u-Link is EXACTLY the same as USB JTAG NT.

With MCP2515 board you can convert u-link NT into a CAN BUS logger. In the video, E39A is used with 500kbps data rate.
Connect GND,3.3V,SI,SO,SCK,CS pins . CAN HIGH and CAN LOW connect to the ECU, 120ohm resistors needed for the MCP2515 board.

u-link NT is replacing USB BDM NT to program MC6833X CPU.
u-link NT has the highest clock set to 9MHz instead of 6MHz. The read speed is faster then USB BDM NT.
Connection
Pin 2GND (White)
Pin 3 Freeze (Gray)
Pin 4 Beer (Purple)
Pin 5 Reset (Blue)
Pin 6 DSCK (Green)
Pin 8 DSO (Orange)

People keep on asking to get BDM NT to program the Volvo CEM since other videos has been told to do so.
u-Link NT has replaced USB BDM NT and can do the programming and better.
In this video, detailed diagram between u-Link NT and Volvo CEM is given.
150ohm resistor is used to enable the erase and programming.

24M02 is a 256KB EEPROM with page size of 256 bytes. 5P08 uses SPI protocol. Both are now supported in 1.46.
If your chip is on the target boad you might not need to connect extra pins (24M02 with pull up resistors and ground pins, 5P08 W pin and hold pins might already connected properly). In the video chips are soldered to the convert board and thus some pins needs to be pulled up and some pins needs to connect to ground or power.

This video shows how to program SGB6580 (newer model).
In order to program the chip on the board you need to connect pin 7 on U2 and U3 to ground.
In here I used 27 ohm resistors.
This modem uses FL128PL, you need to remove one line in SPIflash.xml. Otherwise there will be problem to program the chip.
Remove DYB for 25L128
Save it and restart USB JTAG NT software.
Now you can read and program the modem like you do with other SPI flash modems.

This is implemented in 0.58. The framework for Nand flash support on ST40. The Nand raw data is backed up and programmed. (0x200 bytes sector and 0x16 bytes ecc).
0.58 should also improve the stability issue with ST40 target.
