Protests have erupted in the United States following acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse who had killed two persons and injured another during prorests in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Across the political aisle, Democrats voiced outrage on the verdict. President Biden gave a cautious response, saying, "I stand-by what the jury has concluded. The jury system works and we have to abide by it." In his statement on Friday, however, Biden said that the verdict in the trial "will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included."
Vice President Kamala Harris said that Kyle Rittenhouse verdict "speaks itself" and shows that America has more to do to make its justice system "more equitable." "Clearly, there is a lot more work to do." In an interview with Columbus Despatch, the Vice President Harris said that she was "disappointed" with the verdict. Liberals denounced Rittenhouse's acquittal as further evidence of a racially biased criminal justice system in a country where systemic racism continues to rot the society.
On the other hand, the jury decision was very well received by the Republicans who widely welcomed the Not Guilty verdict. President Donald Trump said in a statement, "Congratulations to Kyle Rittenhouse for being found INNOCENT of all charges. It is called being found NOT GUILTY - and by the way, if that's not self defence, nothing is." Check out our website: https://www.southasiannewsnetwork.com/

The United States and Canada have brought down four objects flying over their airspace since February 4. The latest three were detected by the military and brought down off the coast of Alaska, over Canada’s Yukon territory, and over Lake Huron.
The objects were unidentified, and the U.S. military has not been able to determine their origin or capabilities. Analysts have suggested that the incidents may point to a more deliberate action by an unknown country or adversary.
Meanwhile, China has accused the United States of sending at least ten unsanctioned balloons into Chinese airspace since last year, a claim that was swiftly rejected by the U.S.

In a groundbreaking development, scientists have introduced a pioneering organocatalyst that can efficiently break down mixed plastics into their monomers. These monomers, the building blocks of plastic, can be reused to create new, commercial-grade plastic items. This innovative catalyst works on a variety of polymers, representing over 30% of the world's plastic production. The environmental impact is remarkable, with potential energy savings, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and minimal chemical usage. This eco-friendly process takes just two hours and can be reused multiple times. A giant leap toward a sustainable, eco-friendly future.
