We are shifting gears a little bit and today we will be going over a project that we've had on the back burner for a good while. The project in question is an early 90s Jeep XJ Cherokee that is currently powered by a 4.0 that had been overheated. The goal is to take that 4.0 and start fabbing up a mounts in order to install the LS. This is a pretty long term project, so things will be getting interesting! The engine in question will be a 5.3 LS mated to either a 4L60 or 4L80, depending on what fits. The rest of the drivetrain will remain the same, given the intended purpose of the old Jeep.
