Kingdom People Episode 20 - Mr. Rajkumar Ramchandran
'Kingdom People' is all about people who are a part of God's kingdom. This is not a political kingdom, rather it has to do with people who have said "yes" to the rule of God in their lives. This acknowledgement of God's rule affects the way in which they make their choices, their values and their goals. Here is an opportunity to look into the lives of those who have been transformed by Jesus Christ.
In this episode we have with us a very accomplished engineer turned preacher!! Rajkumar Ramchandran has served in senior positions in India as well as in Germany and Russia. As a preacher, he has been used of God extensively within the country as well as in 45 different countries around the world. As he speaks you can sense his love for God and his childlike commitment to obeying Scriptures. Listen on and be blessed. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmOl-OW2X0U

These songs are Scriptures set to tune to aid Scripture memorization. The verses are all from the New International Version 1984 edition (used with permission). These verses are reliable and worth memorizing. However there is a more recent version of NIV (2011) which we do not recommend* (please read disclaimer below).
All songs were set to tune by Rampert Ratnaiya and this version of "Scriptunes" was released around 2002 (remix) by the Friends Missionary Prayer Band. Many people put their shoulders to this project. Ashok Vedhanayagam initiated this remix on behalf of Friends Missionary Prayer Band. The various singers are as follows.
1. Caleb Martin
2. Maxyn Kingston
3. Meghala Ratnaiya
4. Mukesh Mark
- The narrations are by Mrs. Grace Paul Wesley and Dr. Clement Felix
- The choral arrangements are by Augustine and the choir comprises of Augustine and friends.
- The Drum Programming, Recording and Mixing is by Josiah Heflin.
- The Electric Guitar was played by Bennett Emmanuel.
- All other instruments were orchestrated and sequenced by Rampert Ratnaiya.
*I DO NOT endorse the new 2011 version of NIV which in trying to be "politically correct" and has serious misrepresentations. When we used the 1984 version for Scriptunes, we found that version to be reliable and all the verses that we have used are worth memorizing. Zondervan (the publisher) is not in Christian hands any more. It is now a division of Harper Collins.

This song brings a much needed perspective in a world seeking selfish ends at all costs. Predictably, people end up being used.. Relationships are viewed as a means to an end, having no value other than what can be extracted from it. As a result, barriers spring up between people and distrust proliferates. This in certain situation becomes a breeding ground for hate and violence. But the Master's design in creation lies in the opposite direction. It is not in self-seeking but in self giving that the purpose of human life is achieved. “God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). True loves cares for the wellbeing of the other, over and above its own wellbeing.
Our sinfulness is real and it is dangerous to our own selves. It dehumanizes us and leads us to an eternal separation from God and punishment. We are powerless to change ourselves, our sinfulness and our addictions. But God has a solution. He took our brokenness and sinfulness on Himself to make a way for a restoration of relationships. He paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt that we could not pay. He carried the penalty of sin on the cross, so that in His name there is a possibility of a new life, true reconciliation with God and with one another. This time bound offer is costly, but free. It is time bound because it will only be open in this time of grace, in this life. If you are hurting and burdened, feeling used and unloved. There is good news. God's love is not looking for anything from you, but is seeking to give you a new lease in life which includes forgiveness, inner healing and a restored relationship with your loving Maker. Would you call to Him today? Jesus, the Saviour is waiting to enter into your life. In Him you will find the rest that you are seeking.
Meghala and I have been using this song in many contexts for several decades now. This recording came about rather unintentionally. We had dropped by ProMusicals to look at some equipment and Sudhin plugged in a Mic and a Keyboard into his setup and asked Meghala to sing. Since she had not warmed up we settled for a key, a couple of notes lower than normal. We recorded it in a single take with no practice, for the intention was not to record but to test stuff. Sudhin did some magic by digitally overlaying the voice with harmony adapted from the melody\. Vivin added a choir patch and I added a bass track and a mild B3 organ. When I heard this mix, I did not have the heart to leave this lying around somewhere. So, we decided to shoot a home video and put it up “As is where is.” We hope it blesses you. We searched for details to credit the composer and found that this song was composed by Charlotte Höglund an
