I attempted to get 9 round capacity with these +2 magazine baseplates from Cain Arms and apparently 7 round magazines from ETS. The results are mixed. This thing is actually pretty genius if you're using a standard A2 front sight post and a hand guard that doesn't cover it. In this video I install the Elzetta ZFH1500 Tactical Flashlight Holder on my AR-15 carbine. It attaches to a standard A2 style front sight and secures your flashlight in place with a little bit of customization. Overall, I think it's a great way to mount a light without having a rail system, or even with a railed grip, it saves space and is pretty ingenius. However, it seems to be impractical to customize without cooking up some of your own methods to secure your flashlight. It says it's for all flashlights, but it seems to be tailored to Elzetta lights. Construction is solid. This is the thumbscrew version in tan.
