Over time I figured out that it was because the information I was getting kept changing. The reason for this was that my parents, teachers and others, kept changing their perspective. My conclusion, the perspective they were giving was not theirs. So I became an Autodidact. My philosophy is that to gain perspective we need as many points of view as possible, or else we are being told something. To gain your own true perspective means to take on information and ideas without judgement, see what connections are made and what makes sense to you and then understand that that perspective is right for you at that point in time.
