I bought a 2013 Tesla Model S85 that broke in the parking lot at a friend's office nearly a year ago. Eventually he had it towed to his house where it sat for the better part of the year. I ended up picking it up from him for $7,000 even though it's completely dead and had plenty of other problems. The high voltage battery is on the way and that's a story for another day. Eric called me and said get in the truck we're going to buy a car. I'm always down to buy a car so I jumped in and we headed across town to pick a 1986 Mitsubishi Mighty Max with only 24,000 original miles on it, the Survivor Driver.
