Steve Rocco, who would later become the founder of World Industries Skateboards, and the backer of bLind, Plan-B, 101, Menace, and Prime Skateboards, skating "Streetsyle" for one of the first times at the Streetstyle in Tempe Competition, November 1986. Steve Rocco began his career as a Freestyle skater but envisioned "Streetstyle" as the future of skateboarding and was not only an early innovator, but was also the first person to create an all Street skateboard team.
