This expensive Kitchenaid KSCS25INSS00 refrigerator was warming up in both compartments. The problem turned out to be a failed 120 VAC output from the main control board to the condenser fan motor. Even though this model is only 12 years old, the main control board is NLA (no longer available).
This left the customer in a quandary:
1) wait for the board to be rebuilt - not a great option if this is your only fridge and rebuilding is not always available for every board
2) the quick Samurai Fix™ that bypasses the main board altogether at a fraction of the cost.
