This is a little review of the northern bank of Umbagong District Park in Latham that stretches between Kippax and Charnwood in Canberra's north west (Belconnen). This is a beautiful park full of interesting nooks of flora and fauna, some nice park infrastructure, and some great examples of aboriginal grinding grooves (used to sharpen axe heads) which are of enormous cultural significance - although unfortunately we didn't get to see because of the swollen river from recent rain.
