The 55th AFRAA AGA, commencing this Monday, will run under the theme "Strides to Transform Aviation for Development."

The First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Mrs. Janet Museveni has welcomed UNICEF’s new Regional Director for East and Southern Africa Ms Etleva Kadili, who was on a mission to Uganda to familiarize with the UNICEF-supported programmes in the country.
The First Lady hosted the UNICEF Regional Director who was accompanied by the UNICEF Country Representative to Uganda Dr. Munir Safieldin and other officials from the UNICEF Uganda Office at State House Nakasero.
The First Lady lauded the great working relationship between Uganda and UNICEF over the years and especially appreciated UNICEF for the many programmes that it has supported in the Education sector.

The Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has urged local leaders to monitor government progtams.
She was addressing over 420 local leaders are undergoing leadership transformation training at the National Leadership Training Institute-NALI in Kyankwanzi.

The Cricket Cranes started their warm up tour in Zimbabwe with a narrow win against Zimbabwe’s top cricket club Takashinga. In a game played yesterday evening at the Takashinga grounds in Harare the cranes edged the renowned club by to 2 runs to register victory in the first of their six T20 trial games
