RYKER: Red Dirt Rykers Fall 2019 meetup - Day 2 - OKC to Tulsa on Route 66
This is day #2 of the Red Dirt Rykers meet-up ride, and we're taking Route 66 from Edmond to Tulsa today. This is a long video, so skip to the end of this description for clickable time indexes.

We met at Pop's in Arcadia before we headed out toward Tulsa. I hadn't been inside Pop's before, so I took a few pictures and looked around... it's a neat place! The ride on Route 66 was uneventful except for the terrible pavement quality that gave us a workout trying to dodge ripples and pavement seams for 2 hours. The Ryker is hard to ride over rough pavement because you can't dodge most of the road imperfections. There are 3 tracks to consider, and one wheel is almost ALWAYS going to hit the bumps.

We had a good ride today with a few minor incidents and road scares, but everyone made it through intact. Unfortunately, Nick's Ryker suffered a broken wheel nut about 2/3 through the day, so his bike had to be towed back home.

Time indexes:
0:00 : Playing in traffic with aggressive cagers already
2:38 : Dodging an oblivious cager that changed lanes over the top of me. The camera distorts distances... that was much closer than it appeared.
3:28 : Yet another aggressive cager trying to change lanes over the top of me... 3 near misses in less than one mile!
7:29 : Discussion about riding with the flow of traffic and not necessarily the "speed limit"
8:18 : What was my scariest moment on a bike? Hmm... that's a tough question...
12:50 : Ryker on grooved pavement in Oklahoma sucks just as much as it does in Houston
14:35 : Arriving at Pop's in Arcadia
16:23 : Stopping at the Arcadia Round Barn for a quick photo opportunity
17:38 : The Q&A continues... what would I change about the Ryker? BETTER TIRES!
25:13 : Ryker meets Monster video discussion... sending the Ryker into hard, fast twisties
25:55 : Q&A, favorite add-on for the Ryker? MadStad windscreen and RiderScan mirror
26:57 : Q&A, bizarre incidents on the Ryker? Front-end jackhammering and accidentally shutting down the motor at 65 mph
29:02 : Teddy Bear DOWN!
29:11 : Q&A, missing big events on camera because it was turned off? Yep, just about 6 weeks ago I missed some speeding genius in a new Camaro who launched his car 3 feet in the air over a concrete median... Oops!
32:16 : Q&A, does the Ryker need any more features for the gauge cluster? Yes, it needs a backlight dimmer because it's too bright at night. Jacquie mentioned that it should have adjustable display colors... that's a great idea!
34:11 : Q&A, thoughts on the Ryker community and forums? Most forums seem to be unfriendly and uninviting to the younger crowd and Ryker owners/proponents
42:28 : Bike genre haters, biker etiquette, good manners, etc...
44:33 : Thoughts on the Ryker being a "gateway" bike to initiate new riders or bring older
