Thenga Halwa (Coconut Milk Halwa) Serves 8. Ingredients: 2 cups coconut milk 1 cup 3.25% milk 1/2 cup grated coconut 6 tbsp clarified butter/ghee 1 cup sugar A pinch of cardamom powder A pinch of salt Directions: Combine coconut milk and 3.25% milk in a bowl and bring to a boil on medium heat. Add grated coconut and sugar. Reduce heat and cook uncovered, stirring often till the mixture gets thicker. Add the clarified butter, cardamom powder and salt and stir well. Remove from the stove, transfer to a tray greased with ghee and let it set.
