Heading to Grimsel pass. Wasn't going to post this, but looked at it and saw the steam locomotive and the scenery and thought, man, this is pretty good. This is a combination of regular and 360˚ video. The video has the looking around built in...just sit back and watch. Enjoy. I sure did.

Taking my Ural around places I lived and rode around as a kid. To my friends who lived up there with me and also moved away, sorry, did not go by everyones's house. To be honest, I forgot where a few were... This is where I first rode motorcycles and was fun to go back and do it some more. Will be back in a lot less than 40 years next time! Bad weather came in and shortened the ride.

My 1995 Ural Sportsman and 2019 Ural Gear Up traveling down the same road. Found 2 videos, taken a year apart, synced them up, just to see which one got to a fixed point first... Disclaimer: The 1995 Ural is a Bural - powered by an R100 engine. The 2019 Ural is stock, of course it is, still paying for it.

Playing with a cheapish 360 degree camera. Hard part is editing. To stitch/flatten the movies together, used the EleCam360 converter at high resolution. To edit, used Resolve by DaVinci at a resolution of 1920x1080 (not 960 as it should be for 360 video ) using the H.264 codec. Basically produces an Mpeg file with a Mov file extension, about 1/10th the size of the default codec. Then a spacial media metadata injector so YouTube knows what it is. Camera is a Zetonix 360 zSportcam. Marketed under various names, believe it is made by a company named Shouying in the PRC. Use their viewer to see the raw video. The edited product is not viewable as a 360degree video in any viewer internet products that the metadata injector was designed for (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc.) IMHO, this technology is not ready for prime time, but not to far away to play with. Getting video straight from camera to standard players needs to happen first. Will do static tests later. Almost forgot, their standard slip and lock mount may appear the same as a GoPro's, it is not. You say the actual amount of time it worked, exactly one bump...
