This is the second part of the ESP32-A1S Radio I started here:

In this video I install the AD8307 logarithmic amplifier. If you want to skip the Hot Air gun work go to approx 09:10.
The board I made is on github at
https://github.com/thaaraak/QST-Watt-Meter-
I have an Eagle schematic and board and also a PDF of the board. Dont forget to print out mirrored.

This video completes the series with the transmitter assembly, power testing and on the air.
The 15W QRPoMeter can be found on eBay. I have nothing to to with this product but its a fun and effective little kit

This is a followup to an earlier video I did
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gl6FiF01iAE
The above video gives a full background on LoRa - In this video I show how to connect a standard ESP32 to an off the shelf LoRa board.
This is the LoRa board I am using
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BD42DYY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This as antenna (note the above board does not come with an antenna)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086ZG5WBR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Code is pretty much the same as the Heltec board although pins are different (and as I note the low power LoRa output pin works on this board)

I thought I do a video showing show experiments I have been doing for a 5W push pull style amplifier at 14 Mhz.
Charlie Morris has a great video explaining the math here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtyabG69d4g&t=1503s
The push/pull style amplifier is based on the Ensemble RXTX power amplifier described here
http://www.wb5rvz.org/ensemble_rxtx/10_pa
The ltspice circuit is on my github repo
https://github.com/thaaraak/ltspice
Note that the original ensemble amplifier sets the bias of the mosfets using a reference circuit which I did include in the ltspice model - but I used a simple 5V regulator in mine.
Here's the site that I used for the lowpass filter
https://rf-tools.com/lc-filter/
and the Toroid calculator is here

I had hoped to get all the receiver circuitry done but this video was running a bit long so I stopped after installing the relays and testing the band pass filters

In this video I put together the QRP Labs 10W Linear Amplifier
https://qrp-labs.com/linear.html
I mention a couple of times that the bias reference circuit sets the BS170 DC bias at ~10V - that isn't correct its 2.7V

I had been meaning to create a homebrew version of the si5351 boards that Adafruit and others sell. This is a quick video going through that build
Here's the circuit

and the code I used to test
